NEW CONSTRUCTION HOMES

Our extensive construction experience results in projects that are consistently on-budget, on-time, and a positive experience for the client. Many custom homes take upwards of a year or more to complete, so good communication and solid relationships are key. We aim to be a part of the architect + builder + design team that provides a great foundation (pun intended) for each and every project. Working hand-in-hand with the client's contractor of choice, we guide our client seamlessly through the seemingly endless selection process. We also make ourselves available on-site to handle various detail questions that are an inevitable part of the building process. This is especially helpful to those clients living out of town, and that attention to detail is what you can expect from RD.

RENOVATION PROJECTS

Renovation projects require a creative, think-outside-the-box approach to maximize a home's usability, often with tighter budgets and space constraints. Understanding a client's needs and wishes, and translating those into a plan of action is our specialty. We bring all of our construction experience into renovation projects, with the added understanding of what this process is like for our clients. We're here to help guide them through it.

FURNISHINGS AND SOURCING

We have access to all the premier lines of wallpaper, fabrics, upholstered furniture, case goods, lighting, rugs, artwork and accessories. Supplemented by several trips to various designer markets and antique shopping through the year, we excel at sourcing furnishings for every project. We are happy to utilize any client's own pieces, as well, to create a home that reflects its occupants, not its designers. We carefully plan each space to provide furniture that is sized correctly, is comfortable, and delivers the perfect aesthetic. Our long-standing relationships with custom furniture-makers, decorative painters, installers, and various local vendors ensure our clients receive the attention and quality product deserving of their home. In conjunction with our sister company, threadhouse inc., we also oversee every aspect of custom and locally-made window treatments, pillows and bedding.

CONSULTATION

Consultation is offered as an hourly rate or as a flat fee, depending on the scope of the project. Consultation can include creative thinking, plan drawing, project management, and sourcing furnishings.

In addition to the services listed, we also have worked on luxury spec homes and commercial/office environments. From architectural plan review and space planning to overseeing installation and arranging bookshelves, we have the experience and vision to create a unique, creative environment.
